“New Chappie - Rubbish!”

We got our dog 5 years ago as a rescue and it turned out he had a sensitive stomach. On the advice of our vet we started feeding him the dried Chappie - buying a 15KG sack at a time, and he has been fine on it.
Since buying a bag of the new supposedly "Improved" Chappie at the beginning of September 2012, he has been very constipated and has had us up in the night at least 2 nights per week being sick and wanting to go outside and eat grass.
I don't know what they've done to it (haven't had a chance to compare ingredients as some reviewers have done) but will be trying to find the old style Chappie and when I can't get it any more will have to change brands... does anyone have any suggestions?
I will also be contacting the company to see what they say.
