“Goodbye horrible cravings!!!”

written by Leeanne100 on 20/09/2012

I tried out Tescodiets for the first time in 2009 and lost nearly 2 stone doing it but found that having a partner that wasnt at all supportive really put a spanner in the works for me. I still lost the weight but fell off the wagon as just got bored I guess and frustrated of having to cook my meals seperately. I was on the GI diet convenience only plan.

So after trying a few more diet pills (cringe) and losing nothing more than about 2-3 pounds here or there and finding myself on the loo all the time with the runs from whatever was in those diet pills, I decided after getting out of hospital in July 2012 to go back onto Tescodiets. I have suffered from two ectopic pregnancies over the last 15 years and after miscarrying in July I decided that being 15stone (nearly 95kg's)CANNOT be good for my body and cannot be good for the purposes of concieving. My head and heart were in a much better place and I therefore decided to give Tescodiets a go again.

It took me until the 4th Sept to actually sign up. Not sure what I was scared of but my excuse is that I was waiting for a freezer to be delivered and so scheduled my meal plan to start on the 8th Sept. I wanted to be prepared and in control this time and I also wanted a bit of variety so finding myself out of a job since the 3rd Sept I decided that I would go for the combination. i.e. Convenience and cooking. Now I cannot cook to save my life but the recipes are FANTASTIC!!! So easy to cook, I have found myself making curries, pastas that I never thought possible and there is soooo much food I find myself wondering how I am going to finish everything.

On my first weigh in day I lost 3 kilos that week (approx 6 pounds) and I am right on cue to lose another 1-2 pounds this week which is the correct amount to lose. The reason, I think, that I lost so much in the first week was that I completely stuck to the meal plan. Didnt eat any junk food (Burger King should be offering me shares I buy so much there) and stuck to my exercise of brisk walking for 30 minutes each day. I also decided to be as interactive as I could and logged all my water, calcium and fruit and veg intake. I also took measurements of my waist, hips, arm, calf and thigh as per the site and hey I lost 3.5cm around my waist! What a difference it has made and I am sooo excited to weigh in this week!

I started a blog also on the site where I laid down my story hoping that I would be an inspiration to others and have already made a few more facebook friends.

The mentors are fantastic and I find no question to "stupid" or "small" when asking them and they are always able to help me out and point me in the right direction.

Here's looking forward to losing more! I cant wait to hit my first milestone of 89kilos. Its been years since I was that! My target weight is 80kilos.

Thanks TescoDiets! I have been raving about you to all my friends and hope to introduce some more people to you soon as you are such great value for money (cheaper than other slimming groups) and offer such fantastic support every step of the way.

Thans again :-)
