I was selling tickets on this website for capital fm's summertime ball... They were high priced "ball-zone" tickets. I sold one.
They forwarded me a late order during the queens diamond jubilee so obviously was unable to post on a bank holiday... The time the post offices opened on Wednesday my order had been cancelled with a snotty email from a very poorly trained customer service rep.
I am a commercial / power seller on all the main sites and have NEVER been treated like this.... They broke many rules cancelling this order leaving me with a ticket I ended up selling for £500 less so gutted, and decided not to use this company again.
Then 2 weeks later I get an email saying next to £700 had been taken from my account to compensate the seller.... Why? I did not cancel, I had the ticket, I had already lost money, and more importantly I was NEVER even given notice that money would come out my account so cost me all sorts of problems.
I've been passed pillar to post for next to 3 months now with management agreeing the staff member cancelled too early, but now I have to pay £60 to take these crooks to court.
They ignored all emails and court letters so the case was won in my favour granting me £1200 with the interest however I would now need to try and get these crooks to pay.... I've escalated case and issued them with a ccj as well as instructing bailiffs to act on my behalf .... It was only after the ccj letter from the courts did this company then reply asking for the case to be re-opened whilst they review as claim never to have got letter despite me calling daily too.
The case is still open with them using every delay tactic in the book and I have no court date yet.
My money is £1200 so was worth me paying the courts £60 to claim this... (if I even get it) but I hear plenty of people get smaller amounts pulled from accounts all the time but not worth trying to take to court..... Please contact me with any cases so it will help my case in court.... Also interested in any media outlets that want to review this companies pracacties to attend court.
