“Avoid, Avoid, Avoid”

I had websites hosted with Streamline for over 8 years, but their service has continually deteriorated and costs have increased over that time. They now have appalling customer service, they take an absolute age to reply to support tickets, and that's if they bother at all. Then there is the farcical auto renewal system ... all well and fine if you run a website and don't care what it costs. But for the financially astute among us, who watch costs and look for deals, this is a terrible idea. Their cancellation policy involves you send a support ticket (which they don't reply to), which then means they will charge you the renewal costs anyway, then let you fight it out trying to get a refund. In the meantime they may ask you to confirm which account you want to canel (which they also don't reply to) and kindly threaten you will debt collection letters.

An absolute shambles of a company. If you have a website that needs hosting, avoid Streamline. There are much better and much cheaper companies to choose from.
