“lost money”

My daughter went on line looking for a reasonable priced holiday that would be leaving within 3 days, she found one with this company and went online to book it, as she paid by my card the holiday leaving time suddenly changed but as the payment had been sent all she could do was ring the company and tell them she needed to cancel as it had changed to leaving at 7.10 the next morning and it was after 4pm in the evening that it got booked. The company were very unhelpful in saying that it was to late as it was less than 24hrs away, and this was after she was left waiting on the phone for 10 mins and then being cut of and had to ring back up. i rang myself and got the same reply. we had less than 8hre to book parking spaces etc and get to the airport. My daughter read all the conformation etc and tried to book us on the plane but it would not accept the confirmation.she tried ringing the help desk but by this time was shut. when we got to the airport we was told that we could only go if we paid a extra £60.00 pp as we were not booked in. They tried to book us in and could not do so , it would only let them book the return flight. The end result we had to come home. I contacted the company and was told it was not their fault and i would not get a refund. I emailed and 24hrs later have not had no response from there. so overall if anybody wants to book a holiday do not use this firm.
