“Ripped off in grand style!”

I was searching for a flight from Manchester to Verona for my elderly parents. First site which came up was Fly.Co.UK claiming massive discounts on flights. Found flight which was perfect and only 165£. Phoned my parents to ask if they wanted to go ahead and they said they would think about it and let me know. They duly phoned back and wanted to go ahead, I put all the details in and this time it came up only three seats left. We put in credit card details and the total cost was 175£ at this stage. Then when I went to see the total it was 223£ and in red, 'only 3 seats left'. I looked why the price had jumped up and saw 'service fee' 4.78£. I explained to my parents who were on the phone still that the price had a service fee, and they thought this was an airport charge and as there were only three seats left to go ahead and book it. I had marked 'no insurance' and no flexiFly, but when I had made the payment it had put them back in and the total price was 239.26£. I then received the email statement from Fly.Co.UK and an e-ticket from Monarch Airlines, who they had booked through. Monarch's bill was for a total of 165£!!
Fly.Co.UK had managed to charge my elderly parents an extra amount of 74.26£ for making the booking.
I felt responsible as I had made the booking on their behalf. If I had not been panicked by the '3 seats only left' message I would have gone onto the Monarch Airlines flights and booked it myself. But was afraid we might lose the booking whilst doing this.
Monarch flights for Manchester to Verona are still available now.
Also when I received the email statement from Fly.Co.UK, they are a GERMAN company based in Leipzig! What is going on!!

Please please let everyone know what a load of bandits this company is.

My parents are 90 and 85 and I thought I had got them a really good deal, instead I have just cost them 73£ more than they should have paid!

Disgusted does sum up how I feel. Conned rotten.
