I know Fitness First better than most, I work at head office in Poole for many years. I am not a disgruntled employee and nor am I someone who will stir up trouble without good cause.

During my time with Fitness First I witnessed some extemely questionable ethics, some were actually illegal. I would never become a member of their gyms and I would certainly NEVER give them my bank or credit card details! They would and DO participate in some really underhanded techniques. Without doubt I can tell you they do not care about existing members, All the do care about if signing up new and will go to any lengths to achieve this objective. Some months ago the board was dismissed. Colin Waggett & John Gamble, the two at the top, left the company but the objective remain the same. Its all about the sales.
