I recently got married and when shopping for a dress could not find anything I wanted. At first, I was nervous about purchasing dresses online as I could not try it on and wasn't sure about the size, etc.
I followed their measuring instructions and hoped there would not need to be too many alterations.
At the end of the day only the shoulder straps needed altering and I was pleasantly suprised at the quality.
I am lucky!
