Ordered online, a week in advance, a big and bulky delivery, however on the day of delivery the Driver decided he didn't like the look of our road (i.e too tricky to bother with) and wouldn't deliver, when we called the delivery mgr and then customer service for help it was the start of several hours of sheer frustration with calls not being returned, people being downright rude and no one actually being bothered to help us. We ended up having to hire our own van and go and collect the timber - if it hadn't been for the fact it was too late to get the timber from another supplier (we had people lined up to begin work) we would have told them to stick it. They just wanted us to cancel the order as the whole thing was too much bother for them, they eventually offered us £30 as a good will gesture - I pointed out that I didn't want a gesture - I just wanted them to deliver. Stressed, tired and out of pocket - thank you Wickes you are truly the worse company we have ever had the misfortune to deal with. BEWARE - DO NOT USE WICKES AS THEY WILL LET YOU DOWN, THEY ARE TRULY, TRULY AWFUL.
