As this was the 3rd time for me staying at Gardenia Hotel. Found the Hotel totally changed to the better especially after completing a full renovation for rooms and public areas and the Hotel deserve to be at least 4 stars, it is great hotel. Room was specious and well equipped and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, high quality linen and the best we experienced in Amman. Shower-room was good and very modern. The staff found extremely helpful at all times, the receptionist was great and speak good English.
Although the hotel is on a main but we had a quiet sleep. Breakfast was good - typically ‘continental’ but with no fruit – the dining room needs to be upgraded like the rooms and when I asked they mentioned that renovation of the restaurant area will be during short time….As
The only thing I did not like is the buffet counter in the restaurant.
The location is great and is in a very short walking distance from the main attractions and restaurants. I am not sure what has gone wrong for other reviewers, night or two in Fort de.
Taxis are always available and very cheap compare to other countries. The receptionist offered me a transfer from and to airport at a very reasonable price.
I certainly will come back again and again to this beautiful Hotel. And I do recommend this hotel for anyone to stay in.
Owners did very good job in renovating the Hotel and really looks just fantastic. Renovation did change the hotel image from 20% during last visit in June 2010 to 100% during this stay.
