“Worst company to book with & hopless choice in Hotels”

We booked a hotel in Blackpool with 2 rooms with lastminute.com on 5.8.12.Prior to conirming the booking we had checked with the agent what was included with the room and got it all agreed, also got email confirmation. on same day we got an email from Four Seasons Hotel where we were booked enquiring whether we would like breakfast with our rooms. I was surprise with this email as our confirmation said the breakfast was included so i wrote back to the hotel informing of this but the hotel said this was not the case. I then sent a mail to lastminute.com, customer services regarding this and got an auto reply stating someone will get to me in 12 hours. in the meantime i decided to call lastminute and inform them of what the hotel said and they told me not worry and assured me that the breakfast is included with my booking and at the same time the hotel was saying it is not. The hotel then sent me an email on 6.8.12 informing me that they have cancelled the rooms that were booked. ithen got onto phone to lasminute and informed them of this but they insisted that the booking was all okay and i dont need to worry about anything. i then eventually got my reply from the customer services on 13.8.2012 ( dont know which clock this company has but certainly not the one that everbody else in this planet have as it took them not 12 hours but 144 hours to reply) and this was only to inform me to check the voice mail they had left for me on 10.7.12 and this voice mail only said that they are trying to get the booking confirmed again. this has left a very bitter taste as now i have had to book another hotel at a short notice which obviously comes with a preium price as i had already arranged with my part who was coming from abroad to go to Blackpool. to add insult to injury lastminute.com say that the refund would take 7 - 10 days but they were very quick to take the money when we were booking. i think companies like these where there is no customer service avaliable in the country they operate from should not be allowed conduct any business. as they employ cheap labour from third world countries for their customer services who have very much a relaxed attitude towards everything in life as they are not the ones who are being stitched up.
