2 years ago, I signed up for a 1month free trial. Best thing I've ever done. I soon had tones of messages. I did filter the age but still got messages from older men (I think because I was in their filtered age group) But never the less, I made a few friends (managed to send my email over to them. And put it in my profile like this "Example at hotmail dot com" I don't know if its still possible to do that but it worked then.) I then got a message from one guy, I really liked the look of him, he was in my age and distance group. But because I had already used my 10messages on other people I couldn't get back to him, and I wasn't about to spend a lot of money for someone who could turn out to be no one. Luckily his user name was his real name and I found him on facebook and it continued on there. A few months later we were dating and I closed my free account down. To this day, we are still together and engaged. I believe love will find you like it did me, some times it just needs a little boost. But don't be desperate, please, take your time and wait for someone. You never know, You could be dating the wrong one when the right one comes along.

So anyway, in summary, It does work. I have a healthy loving relationship. Thanks to match.com. But it's expensive, over priced and from what I see now it's a little more complicated. If you're willing to pay up then do so but if you don't have any catches the first few months, move on to a new way to find someone. Also be aware of the huge amount of weirdos on these sites. (If your one of them I'm sorry) And make sure you put truthful things in your profile.

Great value for money if you actually lucky find someone.
