I tried using remit2india for a year but had horrible experiences in almost every transaction ranging from delay in processing times to lower than advertised rates. Xoom simply works!! After you have your account set up and verification done, money sending is seamless and usually occurs within 24-48 hrs. They tell you the exchange rates up front so you know exactly how much money is getting deposited to your account. The website is also really easy to navigate through. I totally recommend xoom to everyone.
