“total fitness filthiness lincoln”

written by mwhite566 on 04/08/2012

this used to be a good club and when I rejoined after a break of a few years I was advised that a new company had taken it over - not for the good! It is dirty and I am at the point where I daren't look at bottom of the pool when I'm swimming! I've seen cleaner outdoor pools. The changing rooms are a disgrace - presumably the person cleaning them doesn't clean the back of the doors so when you close it you can see the filth running down the back of the shower cubicles. The place is a health hazard. They don't enforce anything so people are getting in the pool without showering. All they seem to bother about is kids kids kids!!!!! The adults can go to hell! There use to be a curfew for children so that you could have a swim in peace - now there are kids running around late into the evening - for example - I went later one evening to avoid the feeling that I had stumbled into a Butlins Kids Club session by accident to be confronted by a three year in PJ's at 21.30 mid week running around the changing rooms singing 'The Wheels on the bus go round and round'. It's awful - I go only because it is still the only pool of any size in the area that isn't attached to a school - I'll probably die of some infectious disease before I ever get fit. This is not difficult to sort - cleaning is not difficult!
