“DONT EAT AT LADYSMITH BC KFC!!!!!”

Horrible, horrible horrible food. Gravy that tastes like chemials, chicken thats soggy, greasy and tastes of vinegar. Staff that is brain dead.

Haven't been for over a year because of really bad experience. There is actually a GOOD little chicken restaurant about 15 minutes further down the highway (Lee's in Duncan) so been going there. Gave KFC another chance last night - HUGE mistake. Idiot in in kitchen (who apparently cannot count beyond 10) packed everything up and then (giggle giggle) "forgot to cook the fries - it'll be a few minutes more". Asked to have chicken and gravy placed under a heater so it would not be cold waiting for fries and was told "oh, itll be okay, its pretty warm back here". Insisted and received a glare while she slammed ii into a (I suspect)heater than was turned off.

Finally got "food" after she served others before me (who had come in later), got it home (3 minutes) to find cold cold chicken and gravy so either it was chilled to start with or the heater was off. Chicken was gross - no one would eat it and we ended up with scrambled eggs for dinner. Oh - and the 12 piece meal actually contained 10 pices.....which all things considered might have been the good news.

NEVER NEVER NEVER going back there and telling everyone I can find. Give these places a wide berth unless you really know the folks who run them. I'm sure there are some KFC's somewhere with decent quality but it sure isn't in Ladysmith, BC.

In comparison, went to Lee's in Duncan on the way home tonight. Food hot when I got home - even after a 15 minute drive. Chicken tasted wonderful, was crispy on the outside and done perfectly on the inside. Tasted fresh and delicious. Apparently these folks actually care. If you want chicken the mid Vancouver Island area - go to Lees.
