Where do I start? Booked with Jet2 before and a few niggles but nothing major, however booked to go to majorca flying Aug 2012 back in November 2011. 2 seperate bookings, 1 for my mum and brother the second for myself, hubby and son. All seats were pre-booked with extra leg room. Everything fine until, for some unknown reason, I happened to check online in about April. Both bookings had had there seats changed. Firstly my mum and brother had been moved from row 3 to row 1, so what? My mum has had an op on her shoulder and my brother has Downs syndrome, people with disabilities are not allowed in emergency seats! Then my booking, we were meant to be all sat on row 2. instead they had myself and hubby row 2 and my son (9) on row 4 opposite side of plane. Next day rang, absolutely useless, I explained about my mum and brother and they were moved, but there was nothing they could do for me. I explained that my son is autistic, my husband partially sighted and that is why I pre-booked the seats. Got Nowhere. Complained over a period of weeks and eventually wrote to head office. recieved letter today. Waste of Time. I will NEVER fly with this company again, Customer service - what a joke, you cannot get a phone number for them, my opinion why is because they would be inundated with complaints. Well theres nothing much i can do now, but I will be taking this further when I get back.
