“Ill Never book through anyone else again”

Always book hotels with booking.com but yesterday needed a hotel booked quick and had no visa at hand at so used TRAVELREPUBLIC.IE as I could book with my debit card. Nightmare. I got no confirmation e-mail so rang about it this morning and the girl(who was in England, not Ireland as the phone number would lead you to believe) told me she would get around to it right away. 20 mins later I receive a phonecall telling me the room isnt booked, the hotel has no availability-sorry!

They asked if they would put me through to their sales team and I clearly said no. I have my visa and I have booked with Booking.com. Never again will I go anywhere else!
