Good Points
It was so gripping and full of adventure, there was no part in this story where I felt it was moving to slowly or that nothing was happening. Also, particularly in the High Lord the suspence and story is so intense I wondered if Canavan had used black magic to sap other writers of their ability's! This series is breath taking!
Bad Points
I won't be able to stop thinking about it for monthes!
General Comments
I loved everything about The Black Magicians Trilogy, when Sonea hiding I was scared, when she began trusting Rothen I felt like I was trusting him to and when she fell in love with Akkarin I felt butterflys in my stomach every time I read his name. This trilogy got me so caught up in all the emotions and lives of the characters that I started believing it could all be true and when Akkarin died I cried just as Sonea did. All this book has not recieved all the publicity that Harry Potter did; it is by far a much better read. Thank you so much Trudi Canarvan for taking me away from my world and to your fantasy. I wish it could have gone on longer!!
