We stayed here overnight in July 2012.
This hostellerie is situated high on a hill just above Polligny in the Jura mountains.Splendid panoramic views down the valley from one point in park.Tennis court in a field opposite - which looked well maintained although we did not use it.
The owners of this hostellerie could not have tried harder or been more welcoming. The ambiance was quiet, informal and the rooms are furnished in traditional French country style, fitting perhaps for the age of the building. We enjoyed dinner very much.Breakfast was served on lovely Villeroy and Bosch china. The coffee, tea, fresh orange juice, mini croissants and preserves were all good but there was no fresh bagette.
I speak fairly good French so the hosts did not need to speak English with us. However I don't think much English is spoken there.
We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
Just a warning to look out for an adorable tiny dog which wants to welcome you in the car park - don't enter the car park too fast !
Thank you to the hosts.
