I purchased a SX3 sporting 12 ga. for sporting clays about a year and a half ago. After a complete cleaning I took it out and shot it and it would jam about every 25 shells. I took it home and found a small burr on the lever that guides the shell into the chamber from the magazine. After polishing the burr off it has run about 10, 500 rounds with no malfunctions. It gets completely cleaned every 200 or 400 rounds. The key to keeping these guns working reliably is to keep them clean. Take them completely apart except for the spring in the stock and clean everything. The only problem I have with this gun is that on the inside of the reciever where the bolt comes to the closed position I am getting a wear spot that I have to polish down, it leaves a sharp dent in this area. Don't know if it is just because of the round count or what but someday this may become a problem. Bit most people will never shoot a gun as much as I do.
