Ordered a tablet PC at the weekend for collection at store, got a dispatch confirmation on Sunday, tracked the delivery using Yodel's website, and could see the parcel started at Droitwich before traversing through Yodel's network before finally being delivered to my local store. I turned up expecting to pick the item up, to find out that Tesco had not actually received it, despite Yodel clearing stating it had been delivered. On closer inspection, it appears the item found it's way onto the van, but mysteriously vanished before it got to the store. The store had a list of items that had been scanned as they were unloaded from the van, and mine wasn't there. After much discussion, the item has been re-ordered, and I'm now awaiting delivery of the replacement (which will hopefully arrive, and not find it's way onto eBay courtesy of a dodgy driver). I'm angry that Tesco have wasted my time, but more angry that yet again, Yodel (the useless delivery company formally known at Home Delivery Network) have managed to "misplace" the parcel in the van, and forge a delivery signature. To be fair, Tesco staff did everything they could, but Yodel need to shut up shop, and do something they're better at - which judging by some of the feedback here, appears to be the parcel javelin. If they made that an olympic sport, we're be sorted for medals....
