“I can't beleive this watch... go buy!”

Like many others here, I too bought this over a vacation in zurich after noticing it on the back cover of one of the magz that are placed all over hotels to do just that. Saw it in a boutique the next day and bought, thought was its a reasonably prized watch that will serve as a souvenir of the sort (I had never heard of the brand before, as no one who don't owns a certina has). I am surprised after 7+ years it is still going strong looking new (I wear it almost *everyday* for the past 4 years). Sent it for service only twice (first time was covered under warranty) to NYC in all this time. Got the strap replaced once (any strap would give up after this kind of abuse ;).
Alert, If you buy this watch you'll silently fall in love with it, its not loud but get enough heads turned. People often feel compelled to ask about it and don't hesitate complement.

Did not expect this kind of endurance and quality, though I am not sure why I didn't!
