“Trip to the States”

Leaving the car prior to our departure was very slick and could not be faulted - unfortunately, the same could not be said of our return. Basically, we were directed to the wrong place to meet the bus and it took 1½ hours in a draughty corner of Terminal 1 and four calls by mobile phone to sort it out; the rather lame excuse was that meeting arrangements had been changed because of the Olympics. The driver was very apologetic but, after a long flight and before a long-ish drive home, it spoiled our overall impression.

Shame.
