“Suunto X-Lander Black Face Watch with Leather Strap”

I purchased the Suunto X-Lander Black Face Watch with Leather Strap after looking at the Suunto range for some time.
This watch is both functional and good looking, I wanted a watch that looked smart and did the job I wanted as a keen outdoor person.
The functions of this watch are as described and are taking some getting used to as it is a very technical piece of equipment, but one used to it I should be ok.
The watch is very comfortable and looks good. It does not look like it would have the all the tech gizmos that it does, thank god for microchips.
Prior to my purchase from OutdoorGB I tried to find a local retailer that sold this model of Suunto, but they only had the Core range or the fitness watches so I had to buy without trying, not a problem as I trusted the pictures, description and reputation of the watch model required.
My only concern, not a complaint, is that the backlight is not very bright but as it is normally used only in daylight it isn't really a problem.
