I have spent 90% of my adult life overweight, and been on numerous diets. Last year was the crunch - the largest of my clothes didn't fit and I didn't want to start buying the next size up.
I firmly believe now that the diet has to suit the person. I went to Tesco Diets because of the choioce of diet options. If one didn't work, I could try another. (I chose and stayed with the GI diet).
Staying on the Tesco Diets is easy.
It's cheaper than the ones you go to every week, (from my own experience)
You don't have to buy special food,
The food on the plan can be changed to suit what is in the larder/pocket, and Tesco do all the calorie counting (big bonus for someone like me who can't keep track)
I was never too hungry (or I couldn't have stayed with it)
Plenty of realistic feedback and hints.
I have lost 5 1/2 stone since starting, and not only is my weight now 'normal' for the first time in nearly 40 years, I know what to eat to keep it there.
I am still having to buy more clothes, but a few sizes SMALLER!!!
