“Alaska with Chicag, Amtrak and Seattle ”

I booked this holiday for four of us - we all had a great time! The hotels which Max booked for us were ideal; good quality and central making getting about easy. Chicago, while very hot, was interesting Lake Michigan was huge and it felt like a seaside! Seattle was fasinating and a complete contrast. Amtrak enabled us to see a lot of the countryside, which made the cramped sleeping conditions bearable! Staff were great and meals very good.
The cruise was great - we saw so much; Hubbard Glacier has to be seen to be beleived. Holland Americas Amsterdam had lots of Americans on board [not surprising of course] we also met Australians and Germans. Drink was expensive and passengers are still not allowed to bring alcohol on board which seems primitive.
All thanks to Max for arranging such a great holiday and for being so supportive when i didn't understand something. Also when I wasn't able to cope with the computer related bits! Such patience! Wonderful!
