“Poor Value”

Bought this kettle just over a year ago. Working fine uptil then and all of a sudden stops working. Will not boil or anything. Just out of warranty so infuriating. Considering the price paid and the Dualit name we expected a quality item. Not so. Have written to Dualit and awaiting a response.
