First, the online car number plate ID system was out of action. NOT helpful. Second, when looking up front discs available for my subaru outback entering all relevant info asked, I had three to choose from, standard oem type, sport/performance and ultimax. The standard and sport were in 2 different sizes where as the ultimax listed 1. I wanted the best available, so chose the ultimax. As only 1 size had been listed, I assumed they would fit. Wrong! so phoned ebc sales office and was told there were infact 2 ultimax disc sizes for the front to choose from. So why only 1 size listed online? If there are several options, write on the web page "phone to check, more than 1 option in ultimax." Or simply list all options. That way I would have to phone and check before ordering. To make things worse, the discs I required were smaller than ones that came, but cost nearly £50 more!! Why? I was told that this was due to the extra complexity of smaller machining?? To cap it off, they wanted me to pay a further £15 to post them back. After some negotiation, £5 was deducted, so £60 on top of the £180 I had already paid. Sorry ebc, not so happy trading experience. Lets hope the discs last well!!
If ebc sales wish to address my complaint, I am happy to hear from you.
Maybe a discount code for my next purchase would go a long way to restoring my confidence in ebc and result in a much more positive review.
