“it sucks...”

i booked using this facility today for singapore good for 3pax for 3 nights...after doing the necessary details i paid using my credit card, whats written in the confirmation slip as Total room Price -sgd257.40 - only to read the written words below the confirmation slip - "you have guaranteed your booking by credit card. part of your payment will be taken by the hotel, part has not been paid - `100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of the booking" - was i flabbergasted reading this - did i just pay for a night with my sgd257.40?or the whole 3 nights so i called up booking.com only to get two conflicting answers from two operators - one said its good for one night only - while the other said its good for 3 nights(granting i have a statement that says my credit card has been debited sgd257.40! of course it will debit sgd257.40 coz thats what i typed into the payment details...)it was so frustrating coz i feel like booking.com isn't clear cut with its payment details or policies-- it should say Final Price (for the booked room
