The room was just ok but had a great view of the Charles River and Cambridge. When checking in we saw many people wearing ethnic costumes and we were told they represented Eastern Europe cultures that had some type of a convention or festive at the hotel. Noise was not a concern until mid night when we were awakened by people slamming doors and talking loud in the hall way until four AM. When we checked out I brought this to the attention of the clerk. He told me the hotel was aware of the problem due to complaints. I mentioned to him I paid almost four hundred dollars for the room and garage parking for the car and I could have slept better in the car.
Before I ever book a room in a large hotel I will be sure to ask if there are functions going on as these

Eastern Europeans were the most crude and ignorant people I have ever been exposed to with my wife.Oh by the way were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. All the staff could say was that they were sorry.
TOTALY UNACCEPTABLE.
I am done with the Sheration Hotel chain
