I wanted to put no stars but the system would let me.
Before you purchase an Asus Lap top from Comet you need to read the following.
The reason i hold Comet responsable is because in the first year of warranty they should really have a way sending the product back for the repair for you
I bought an Asus Laptop from Comet in February 2012. With in 6 weeks the DVD Drive Draw kept opening for no reason even when i was shutting down the Computer.
Comet did not want to know. they handed me a leaflet to contact Asus direct.
I was answered by the rudest customer Assistant I have ever heard.
I have a witness to this
The number to Asus is 10 pence a minute. it wasn't long before I was clocking up £3 and £4 calls.
You can not call a free phone number or use your phone minutes.
The call centre is only available Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00.
I have complained to their customer service on the internet site. no answer.
It is now June and still no resolution or repair.
If you are buying a PC type product, look at companies that have on site availability for repairs.
Comet should really warn their customers that they have not really got a true back up service and only want the product out the door
