Just went to publics to buy some food, my personel debit card declined even though plenty of dosh in the account, thought I would call them see what the problem was? What a mistake, first thing I heard was the standard we are very busy pre recorded message hold for ten minutes for what???
The brainless idiot in the call centre said she needed to ask some security questions, good I thought getting somewhere now, alas not to be didnt ask the standard questions password etc. I explained that a loyal customer for several years is stuck in the USA without the use of my debit card, OK he has a problem lets make it even more difficult for him in his hour of need thought Lloyds TSB,and here are the classic questions, what day did i open the account with them? my reply it was thirteen years back how the hell should i know that? im in the usa!! which I informed idiot in the call centre, so the next question how much was paid in to my personel account today?, how do i know that as my office is shut its gone six pm on and friday, even though i told miss brainless what account it was coming from yet again I explained I was stuck in the USA with my totally useless lump of plastic from Lloyds TSB at this point i was informed I had failed her security questions therefore she was not prepared to continue the call.
What I dont understand is that the standard security questions were not required ie password etc. Would it not sprinkle a liitle grey matter her dormant brain that I was in trouble, no lets just dump this guy, and get on and shaft the next customer.
Pathetic is possibly overstating the quality of the backup I have received from this pathetic bunch idiots who were not interested in my
predicament. They are most useless fat cats on this earth and when I finally get back I will tell Lloyds TSB Norwich to stick their bank account where the sun does not show
