I have just booked through on the beach, paying nearly £8,000 for a holiday. No option was given to book in-flight meals but all the info indicated it could be added after booking. I have young children and on a 4.5 hour flight, an in-flight meal is a god send! When i then looked on-line to add extras, they want to charge a £30 fee for the priviledge!! Surely if the add on is not offered at time of booking (all other sites offer it when booking), how can they rightly then charge a fee of £30.00. I thought I would call and complain - it's an 0900 number costing 50p per minute. When you use their on-line assistant "Alison" she doesn't understand and there is no real time on-line help offered.
They have you over a barrell. ABTA or ATOL need to look into this illegal practice, which in other industries you would neve get away with doing. 50p a minute to complain too - I wonder how many people just pay it!
LOOK BEFORE YOU BOOK!!! Book with someone else.
