I already own an iPad2 so I decided to buy muy hubbie his own for his birthday. When I visited the local Apple store theyhad both 2 and 3 alongside each other. The ipad3 is heavier and bigger than ipad2 - and I cannot see the difference in screen resolution. To me anyway, the whole point of a ipad is to not lug a heavy laptop around so I would recommend you to buy the (now, much) cheaper ipad2 and pass ipad3 by..
