I've had the same pay as you go mobile from orange for ever, recently the battery gave up so i bought a new phone from orange, the cheapest i could find. When I bought the phone I had to "top up" with £10. This came on the new sim card. I was told when I bought the new phone i could still use the old sim (with all my pictures and contacts saved on it) and get the £10 tranferred. I finally got round to phoning Orange to get them to transfer the £10 but the guy said he could not do that, he would need me to use the new sim. So I went thru the process of giving him the imei number and the number of the sim card etc. He told me I would need to switch off my phone and dont use it for at least 2 hours and then when i switched back on, there would be some updates and the new balance would magically have been activated. I still only have £1.92 left in credit.
Lied to by the first advisor who said i could keep my old sim card or lied to by Trevor from Mumbai?
