“Last Chance”

I was at the end of my tether and didnt know where to turn. My life was upside down. Divorced, engaged, single. Nowhere to live, nowhere to turn and about £26K in debt. The life stuff was nothiong compared to the worry of debt.
Then a recommendation to speak to CCCS. From day one the cloud started to lift. The person I spoke to was very understanding and non judgemental. We arranged a call back to discuss my budget. The initial call was also so calming because I was in a complete panic and waffling. The person calmed me down and explained how the CCCS worked.
After going through my budget withn the advisor I realised with careful budgetting I could turn my life around and be debt free in less time than I thought possible. I was promised help every step of the way and that has been the case whoever I have spoken to. They have quickly resolved any issues. I no longer hide my phone or dread the post.
I have started to enjoy life again now and didnt even panic when made redundant recently. The advisors were there and helped me rebudget very quickly so that nothing was missed.
Without all the stress I managed to get another job quickly and again was helped re assess my situation very quickly.
The biggest help has been the reduction of stress due to threatening letters.
I cannot thank everyone enough and hope to be able to use this service until I am debt free.
The hardest part was picking up the phone and admitting my mistakes. Everything else has been stress free.
