I'm a weekly international traveler and have had no problems with Air Canada until my last flight. Because my flight is a codeshare I cannot check in for my flight online; I must check in using the airport kiosk. Because I do not check a bag, this has never been a problem. My last flight I arrived at the airport one hour before boarding (which I had done the week before) and was not allowed to check in even though I was not checking bags! Althought the agents indicated that they could allow me to check in, they refused and told me I needed to re-book. Ticketing was very helpful, but I was forced to book a connecting flight, pay more money, and it took me 10 hours to fly home instead of the usual 2.5 hours. I've flown several airlines -- Air Canada is the worst for customer service!!!
