“Avoid like the plague”

Hired the car on line for a trip to Ireland - never hired a car before, probably won't ever again after this experience. The staff at the airport were not friendly, helpful, quick or polite. I was charged 102.40 Euros for the fuel in the car on collection and was assured that this would be refunded if the car was returned with a full tank. This was done and checked by Europcar staff at Dublin Airport car return centre. Was assured that the refund would be done there and then, I asked for a receipt and was made to feel stupid for asking. I have actually been charged another 102.40 Euros. Tried ringing but they don't answer. Tried emailing but all you get is an automated response and nothing else.
Unless you have money to waste, do not use this company. Just wish I had thought to read the many other bad reviews first.
