Just wanted to let you know how our holiday at the Centara Resort went, and also to thank you very much for recommending the resort and for the booking.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. When we took a stroll around the island I was glad that I upgraded the accommodation from the beach villa to the luxury sunset water villa as we didn't think there was enough beach space in front of the beach villas and there appeared to be a lack of privacy as people stroll past them, whereas the water villas are a lot more private and we loved the fact that we could go snorkelling from the villa whenever we wanted. We loved dining at the Island Club, and we made use of the pool there as it was very peaceful compared to the main one. The service at the Island Club was truly outstanding. We felt totally spoilt by the staff, and the drinks provided were much better than elsewhere in the resort with more choice. The Club also provided us with an opportunity to dine in an air conditioned dining room if we chose to. They serve a 5 course gourmet dinner there and the menu changes everyday.

Like me, my husband thoroughly enjoyed the resort, especially the dive centre (a fortune was spent on diving trips which he booked nearly every day!). We also made use of the spa a few times. The Thai restaurant was great, quite authentic and the ingredients were very fresh. We also loved the seafood restaurant where we booked a table for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday, and yes they organised a little birthday cake for him! We chose to dine there again on the last night.

To sum it all up, food and staff were great. Accommodation was also great (except for the bed which was quite hard to sleep on but we got used to it after a couple of nights). The location was excellent for diving and snorkelling. If we decided to return we would definitely stay in a water villa with the Island Club again though.

Robert, we will be visiting Thailand in December and I wondered if you could do a quote for me. The dates that I have in mind is from Dec 7th and returning on 31st Dec. This will be for 4 adults, and a direct flight is preferred although non-direct flights will be considered depending on the package offered as we will need 2 x hotel accommodation with breakfast for the first 5 nights in Bangkok. After that my daughter and her friend would like to fly to Tokyo for a week so could I ask you to help find the best possible quote for their return flights from BKK to Tokyo as well, please. We can't decide which resort to go to yet for 4-5 nights on our own but perhaps you might be able to suggest something.
