Software for students offers the best way to get a proper version of MS Office Pro at student prices. S4S understand the needs of UK secondary school students. They understand that those students need access to programs like Access and Publisher. Microsoft seem to think that you don't need Publisher or Access until you get to Uni(?!).
Unfortunately, Microsoft are now moving the goalposts (again). With the introduction of 2010 Home and Student, they're closing down the student-can-buy-pro route. Shame on you Redmond!!! No wonder so many people feel better off with OpenOffice or LibreOffice. At least you could extend the Uni edition programme to include secondary and FE students as well. Plus who want's to risk buying a product you might then not be able to activate, with no refund. Surely selling like that is illegal?
