The item I ordered showed that there were well over a thousand in stock, and also that dispatch would be within 1-2 days. After 4 days I called to ask wherether it had been dispatched as I hadn’t had an email, and was promised it would be dispatched the same day. It wasn’t so I called again the next day and it appears that they did not have any stock and nor did the supplier, so the first person I spoke to either had incorrect information or lied. Clearly the stock data isn’t live and is therefore unreliable, and if this is the case you should be told that the item is delayed.
They did source the product in the end from a different supplier, but it took about 10 days rather than the 2-3 you now expect from online purchases.
Also the emails with confirmation of order etc we not at all formatted and did not contain information in half of the fieds they should have.
The item was however about 15% cheaper than I could find it elsewhere.
