Let’s begin with how our vacation started….
We arrived to Mexico and we had no transportation to our hotel. We had to pay for the taxi.
The package we bought from Bookit.com was all inclusive.
When we checked in to the hotel we were told the tennis courts were under reconstruction. The main reason we booked this hotel was to be able to play tennis, which we enjoy very much. Not to mention we traveled with our tennis bags and tennis attire.
When we got to our room we had 2 double beds and a warm refrigerator with 2 warm beers. We should have had a king size bed and fully stocked mini bar.
We spent much our time in the concierge’s office and at the front desk resolving these issues. Then we went to see about water sports (snorkeling) and were told that would be extra. When we tried to find a representative from Bookit.com there was no one to speak to. In order for us to call Bookit.com it would cost $3 a minute.
That evening I tried to order room service and they said we could not because we were not premium customers and room service was not available to us.
When my husband and I booked our vacation we were under the impression we had the best package. We thought we had purchased the package that included all the amenities and once we got there we could relax.
I felt like the whole time we were there we were constantly talking to the concierge’s office trying to get what we payed for. They told us to talk to H10 Premium and we would receive all the upgrades. So we did and once again spent our entire day with this company. Our trip was only for 5 days. Our expectations were very misleading. We are so disappointed.
When we went to head to the airport, once again we had no transportation and had to pay for a taxi. This vacation was a huge mess.
This was our first experience with Bookit.com and are very disappointed.
