“Over priced hype”

Written on: 10/06/2012

My family and I visited Lego land today, personally I found it disappointing & seriously over-priced even though we used our Tesco vouchers on entry.

The outdoor Lego Models need sprucing up, all very tired and dull looking. The newer pieces looked much more eye catching. Many of them had broken, toppled over.

It appears attention to detail is being missed without a doubt. Even on entry everything including the sign looked tired/dirty and neglected.

Designing and spending money on canopy's for these painstakingly built models would weatherproof them in some way.

Tired rides, canopy's, the general up-keep of the whole park needs attention and the money being made here is clearly not spent on this when it should be its first priority!
I feel there is no excuse when this is supposed to be one of the main UK visitor attractions.

Money making opportunities on every corner, over-priced Face painting, food, panning for gold should be included in park entry price or reduced to no more than £1.50.

The park does not have enough variety of 'working' rides for the capacity of visitors. Approx 10,000 people today so we were told....

Five rides were not even in action which is appalling, queuing was so mind numbingly boring and I witnessed many, very young children finding this difficult to cope with and adults.

People should not be charged full price when so many rides are out of action, visitors should be informed of this before entering the pay kiosk.

One plus for us we did find the Staff were polite and friendly.

Will not be returning standards are too low at present.
