“Great model but spoiled by poor delivery time”

I purchased a model Mazda MX-5 which I am more than satisfied with .. excellent detailed model.

The problem is that the site stated that if the item was in stock (which the site said it was in stock) delivery was normally next day and as I wanted this as birthday present I ordered it on the Monday expecting that I would get it at the latest three days later. However as not recieved by the Friday of that week so I telephoned and was informed that the item was not in stock. I expressed my disappointment as the birthday would be missed. I do accept that the lady I spoke to must have pulled out the stops as I took delivery on the following Wednesday (10 days after ordering). This was my only complaint but the site should not state that delivery is "normally" sent the next day where the model is in stock. You try explaining to a disappointed grandson!!!!!
