“Obnoxious advisors”

I've been a loyal customer for 16years do they care not one bit. My husband got me a new iPhone on contract as a birthday surprise. As I had a contract already I wanted to keep my original number my husband was told by the advisor this would be a problem all I had to do was speak to an advisor get the numbers changed cancel one contract. Sounds easy but knowing 02 on previous tele conversations had a bad feeling. Believe me when I tell you I spent 2days trying to sort this out on the phone over 3 hrs both days to very very obnoxious advisors my blood pressure hit the ceiling. After going through numerous silly security questions (I didn't know at first as my husband got this as a surprise) how was I to know his security answers just got this conversation has to end as you're not the right person. Finally after ringing my husband who was busy at work I managed to eventually get to my point, just change the dam numbers ok 3 hrs later all done check your phone turn it on and off within 24hrs your old phone number will be transferred to the new one it will prompt you to input the pin which will be 0000 . Thank goodness for that. 24hrs later yes my ion prompt was there ON THE WRONG PHONE. Oh no!! Back to the robots believe me I was losing the will to live horrendous advisor telling me there was nothing on her screen about keeping an old number i was mortified they made me feel like a liar I told her my old phone was now blocked was that just a coincidence she said she didn't know maybe it was an old sim so I needed to go into the 02 shop to get a new one I told her I wouldn't be needing one as I was cancelling my contract she said that was fine but I couldn't do it until the end of the month, didn't care one bit totally ruined my day should have been a great birthday surprise but ended up a complete nightmare those so called advisors need to go to finishing school they are totally rude. I really think they love winding people up they must have this in their training for robots. At the end of the day it's a MOBILE PHONE not the crown jewels 02 may have good deals etc. But your wellbeing is worth more than the stress they give you. Definitely NO to 02. Don't do it.
