I entered the wrong information on the first and second tries because I misunderstood the directions. Then I mistook the fact that I wasn't on my preferred network as the unlock code having not worked, but it was actually because AT&T uses GSM and "Global" doesn't work with them. Anyway, after I changed that everything worked fine.
They're a little slow about responding, but will usually get to it within 8 hours. Normal users wouldn't run into the problems I did, though.
