“Ditching Play.com and gaing back to Amazon”

I've used Play.com for many years and never had any problems.......until I had the wrong item delivered.

I received someone elses order, with their items, their paperwork and their address. Only my address on the box was correct. So I called play who said don't worry, send it back and we'll replace it.

So I did...... no replacement arrived, so I called Play again and they said I hadn't returned my item. I agreed, I had returned someone elses item that was delivered to me by mistake.
They said they could not send a replacement until I had returned my order. After another 3 phone calls they agreed to send a replacement. Which finally arrived 4 weeks after being ordered.
Try explaining that to an 8 year old who had saved up their pocket money.

I've decided to go back to using Amazon and will never use Play.com again.
