“Admiral Customer Service - NO Claims Bonus (NCB)”

Written on: 03/06/2012 by jasoncooke93 (31 reviews written)

Unless we continue to leave negative reviews of our own poor experiences with UK based companies and their inappropriate ethics and shoddy service, companies will not change, so it has to be done!

Admiral, is indicative of pretty much most customer service departments in Britain in 2012, its bad and declining fast. My poor experience is with regards using No Claims Bonus or NCB to get the discount I'm entitled too. and I still can't believe there isn't a central database for NCB to make it simple for all concerned.

Long story short Admiral give you a discount for each year of no Claims Bonus (NCB) - up to a maximum of 20 years. Some insurance companies and their systems give you maximum of 8, 9 or 10 and will not document any NCB above these numbers.

Although I have 17 years NCB (6 with Admiral) my last insurers' system has a maximum NCB of 9 years possible. Even though I have shown Admiral each of my last 17 years NCB confirmations, they will only accept the last confirmation showing 9 years even though the sales guy I signed up with quoted me for the 17 years and accepted the 17 years.

So now I'm locked in at 9 and have lost 8 years NCB.

I'm writing to the FSA to pursue this.

To wrap up, I seem to be a writing a letter a week to wrong a right with various companies and their customer service departments and I'm sick of it.
