“Nicholls Softener Review”

Although we have only had the softener for just over a month, we have already noticed some differences. E.g. glasses are sparkling clean after washing up and are not marked; the water feels much softer on our skin and we are using less detergent in the washing machine and dish washer. The engineer who installed the softener was excellent. He looked at all the options and discussed them with me prior to installation. The softener has not interfered with our water flow or the operation of the combi boiler.

In hindsight, I would have liked to have isolated my outside tap in order to use for gardening purposes. I can still shut off the softener when I want to water plants etc, but it would have been easier with a separate tap.

We are currently renting the softener on trial but fully intend to complete the purchase.
