“Pogo.com USED TO BE fun but it is not fun anymore”

Written on: 27/05/2012

The new embedded games are ridiclous. They've hired the worst techs in existence. All they have done for MONTHS is take games that work and break them. None of the new embedded game formats work for me at all, and even if they did, they're no fun to play--the format sucks. Someone said, well they have deadlines--tell me who COULDN'T meet a deadline if NOTHING has to work when you finish it?! In addition, their customer support was bad to begin with and now is virtually nonexistent or worse. Pogo used to be fun but it is not fun anymore. I was playing on another game site when I discovered Pogo, now it is time to go back to that site or to look for another one. Even Pogo admins posted on their own forums that the complaints from legitimate players over their new embedded formats are OVERTAKING THEIR FORUMS. Guess what, if the complaints are overtaking the forums because people hate the new format, not to mention that the games are not working for many of your customers, it's time to change back or fire the ppl working for you, because they obviously can't do anything. Even a five-year-old can program a game if the game doesn't have to work when you finish it. This doesn't even begin to mention the fact that Club Pogo members are being DEFRAUDED because they paid for 'no advertisements' and the new embedded games are SURROUNDED BY ADS. In addition, take the # of Club Pogo members who PAID to play on this site for whom a large # of the embedded games no long work at all. Then Pogo/EA has made it next to impossible to reach customer service. There are also multiple reports of them overcharging people, and the new embedded games have had privacy issues where the games were displaying people's private personal email addresses in certain browsers that you are pushed to use.

Can anyone say... Lawsuit waiting to happen? FTC Complaints? Fraud is illegal in all 50 states, and if you are not getting what you paid for and they refuse to refund your money, sooner or later they're going to have MAJOR problems.
